I’m Barbara Lia. For over 10 years, I’ve studied how image, style and identity come together, working with more than 300 clients across Europe.

Because dressing well is only the beginning.
Since childhood, it has shaped the way I see the world. It was there in my grandmother’s sewing machine, in the embroidery I created for my own clothes and in the fashion magazines I collected.
For many years, that side of me remained quiet while I followed another path.
Then, in 2020, at a moment of transition in my own life, I discovered image consulting. I understood almost immediately that this was what I wanted to do. Since then, I have never stopped studying, observing and dedicating myself to this work.
I have always been a curious observer. For a long time, I did not understand why people who had only just met me felt the need to tell me their stories. Only later did I realise that this way of looking, the ability to observe, listen and perceive what lies beyond the visible, was also what allowed me to recognise who each client is and translate it into their image, faithfully and uniquely.
This way of looking is behind everything I do: understanding the person before looking at the wardrobe, noticing what has changed before defining what needs to change, and turning that reading into an image that makes sense for who they are today.
It is not about creating a character. It is about making visible, through image, the person you have become.
Anyone who thinks fashion is superficial does not understand what it means to be human. Fashion tells our story, reflects society and shapes the way we see ourselves. Dressing is also a way of revealing who we are.
I believe every stage of life calls for an image of its own. A move to a new country, the arrival of a child, a promotion or a new business changes the way you live, and in those moments it is only natural that the mirror no longer reflects who you have become.
My work is to align your image with this new moment, with the same care in every detail, from clothing to hair, from make-up to perfume. We refine what is already yours and let go of what no longer represents you, until your image tells your story again.
